We'll be at Castle Island on Boston’s South Shore. The views of Boston Harbor are simply breathtaking

as you Walk for Fidelco around Castle Island’s Pleasure Bay. The walk site is part of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and features paved walking trails, playgrounds for the kids and a variety of picnic areas. Castle Island is easily accessible by car, bus or Boston’s famous “T.”

9:00a.m.   Opening Ceremony  Join the Fidelco

staff, clients and guide dogs for the official start of the 2010 Walk for Fidelco-Boston. Complimentary water will be available for all walkers and dogs.

10:00a.m.  Foster Puppy Demonstration  Our Fidelco puppies and foster families will touch your heart with training demonstrations of the journey that guide dogs take from pup to partner.

10:30a.m. Fidelco Guide Dog Demonstration  Our training staff will impress you with the training that each Fidelco guide dog must undergo prior to being partnered with a person who is visually impaired.

11:00a.m. The Closing Ceremony gives us a chance to say “thank you” for taking a few extra steps to help men and women who are blind make great strides along the road to independence with Fidelco guide dogs at their sides.
